How to actually TALK to a human
Do you hate automated phone systems as much as I do? I just want to talk to some one … I dont want to enter my account information, go through 5 prompts just to get to a human AND THEN have to tell them my account information AGAIN!!.
I found this through another marketing blog that I read …… GetHuman.com It has some pretty interesting phone numbers on the list … Want to call the White House? The number is there, and no keypad entries are needed to talk to a person.

To any organization, automation = cost savings. Cost savings to the organization = lower operating costs = lower pricing to the customer.
GOOD automated phone systems will never hide their “operator” option- and as well, will allow the customer several ways to access their information without the normal “account number”.
GOOD automated phone systems will also store data, already entered by the customer so the customer will never have to repeat it.
Fear not the automation. Fear the company that doesn’t do it correctly.

I agree …….. but from my experience the list of companies that do it correctly is SHORT…….

Just give me those human numbers–but I want one that speaks English, that I can understand. . . and I want them to care. . . and be helpful.
I’m dreaming again. d.
Speaking of: Need to get on phone with Earthlink AGAIN. Still can’t send my e-mail. WHATEVER.
