I started designing web sites back in the days of “Internet in a box” and the “Mosaic Browser.” All pages had a gray background, there was no formatting – it was really ugly. But I could see where it was going, even though people thought I was crazy. One of my first endeavors was a Lake Tahoe directory – www.tahoenet.com – I can remember the opposition “people work on their computers all day at work, who would want to go home and look for a restaurant…” Yea, they ALL have web sites now.

When the Netscape browser came out, it changed everything – we now had tables and could start to format the pages. It was beautiful.

It is amazing how far thing have come in 15 -16 years.
